@mags9158 – Nope. There are no studies whatsoever that have proven it to be negative if used in a method similar to this. If it were full strength H2O2 then yes, but the stuff you buy at the store is usually around 2% hydrogen peroxide and 98% water.

@mags9158…hydrogen peroxide can be used as an oral rinse..and most of the teeth whitening at home kits you see in drug stores have hyrdrogen peroxide listed in the ingredients..the only way i can imagine it being harmful is if you swallow it..which would be pretty dumb

isnt that going to taste like crap, i dont wanna be gagging. whitening toothpastes dont rele work for me, i hav discolouring on the front of my teeth and it only seems to make that discolourd bit whiter but the rest of my teeth stay the same except they look yellower because of the other bits randomly turning whiter then the rest. im gonna try it tho anyway. how many times do u hav to do it to see an effect tho and how often should u do it?

It won’t harm your teeth, you’ll be ok to use it

It does work. It works JUST as well as the Crest whitening strips but takes longer. Like, anywhere from weeks/months later depending on how often you use it and the degree of staining on your teeth. You can’t use it everyday because your teeth will get sensitive. The Crest white strips whiten faster. But you may also have to limit your use of the strips to every other day like my sister did due to sensitivity. Hope that was helpful

Nope. I mix baking soda with hydrogen peroxide and it causes no harm whatsoever. Been doing it for years

hydrogen peroxide can be dangerous to gums…
